Shaping Better Men.
The mission of the New York University Inter-fraternity Council is to govern, to serve, to represent, and to promote, with the highest standard of integrity, its member fraternities. We exist as a resource to facilitate the growth and development of fraternity men in the areas of personal and fraternal responsibility, leadership, scholastic achievement, civic engagement, and brotherhood.
The New York University Inter-fraternity Council serves a number of purposes within the NYU community. Outside of the mission stated above, the council also functions as one of the voices of the Greek community at NYU. The IFC executive board meets with it's supervisors and NYU administration in order to foster a more complete and cooperative community within NYU. The executive board also plans events ranging from philanthropy to safety and everything in between. As our mission statement says, we hope to shape better men, both in university life and beyond.
